Hi Ian,
I am 64 and recently diagnosed with Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD). Specifically WetAMD, which requires an eye injection every 4 weeks. I can say I really wish I had eaten more fish and taken fish oil supplements a long time ago. It may have helped prevent this aweful eye disease. Not to mention the many other benefits you mentioned in your article.
Do you have a recommended amount of daily Omega-3 mg?

Hi Randy, To date, there is no official recommended daily allowance for EPA and DHA. However, most health organizations agree that 250–500 mg of combined EPA and DHA is enough for adults to maintain their overall health. However higher doses may be needed for some health conditions, in view of what you told me it would be best top speak to your doctor to ensure compatibility with any medications you may be taking. Thank you for your comment, all the very best Ian
