How to make weights at home. At 71years old, I found I had become weak, heading for frailty, and I needed to do something about it. Unfortunately, I did not find anything online that suited me. So then, I decided to start by going out and spending 30 to 40 minutes of brisk walking. In this case, I filled two half-litre juice bottles with water to use as hand weights. So then, hand weights help you keep up the momentum because it is easy to slacken the pace when you tire.

How to make weights at home. When I was out, I passed a construction site with a huge pile of sand at the side of the road. Furthermore, I changed the water for sand, making a little more weight. After I returned home, I thought about making weights and using sand. I tried it, and it worked for me. So then, I tried other containers and filled them with sand; this worked well. After, I realised I was getting stronger as time went on.

Finding a Suitable Training Method

After some research and a little trial and error, I settled on a system of fives repeating each exercise 5 times and doing 5 sets. Consequently, it worked well and was enjoyable for me. So then, I never rushed to go up to the next weight. As a result, I took my time and built my strength slowly. And I made sure I got the most out of each weight before moving to the next weight. And I will show all of this in a further video.

Making weights this way is almost totally free,

If you live or are near a beach, there is tons of sand. There are many places where you can find sand, and it is simple to use and easy to deal with if you have a broken container.

In Conclusion

This is a simple and easy method to have a set of weights at home, no travel to a gym, no membership, and no one watching you. At home, rain, hail or shine, you can train with no one staring at you or watching you. You also do not need to dress for going out. How to train and the method will follow soon
